Can Rafaela is an ancient, peaceful Ibizan house ( 160m2 of living area ) situated in the heart of the island, amongst woods and fruit trees with 25.000m of land, located on the outskirts of San Rafael, the house dates back to the year 1823. In the year 2000 the owner restaured Can Sam maintaining its Ibizan arquitecture; the wooden ceiling beams, staircases, doors, windows, gross walls etc. and improving its interior with modern materials but without losing the essence of the Ibizan country houses. The house has two floors and is suitable to sleep up to six people. On the first floor ( 50m ) is the A “suite” with a large main bedroom, an ample salon with TV/SAT/DVD, a music system, air-conditioning, a luxurious bathroom with hydro-massage and a terrace with lovely views of the countryside. On the ground floor is the living room, decorated with period furniture and old elements. Also on this floor are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, and a complete shared bathroom. The kitchen - dining room (17m, is fully equipped with a washing machine, microwave, oven, fridge, coffee maker etc. The outside of the house is surrounded by pleasant terraces with well looked after pretty gardens illuminated at night to add to the warmth and the magic of the the Ibizan summer nights.
